The Real World: Hollywood @ 10pm
The seminal reality series launches its 20th season (geez — has it really been that long?) by going Hollywood. Seven young, good-looking strangers move into Tinseltown digs for another round of clashes, laughs, hookups and adventures. And for the first time, one of the roommates, Greg from Daytona Beach, was selected by viewers.
Top Chef @ 10pm
With celeb chef Ming Tsai overseeing their every move and groove last week, the gastronomic gang set out to cook at a Chicago celebrity-chef ball. There, plenty of four-star dirt was dished (Dale vs. Lisa; Spike and his array of funny hats vs. Antonia), creating a mushroom cloud of drama. Speaking of mushrooms, Zoi's bland 'shrooms bittered the judges, and she packed for home. Tonight, the gang gets sporty, but will they be good sports? Their culinary acumen is tested when they must prepare football-themed tailgate fare. Which contestant will go the extra yard and win?
American Idol @ 9pm
Mariah Carey's performance tonight should brighten up the beginning of this episode, but the ending is sure to be dismal for one of these seven finalists, just like it was last week for Michael Johns. What do you think? Did the guys really rule last night's performances? Simon says....
America's Next Top Model @ 8pm
Paulina instructs the models on how to behave during interviews and public events, and then the gals test their new skills at a cocktail party where they mingle with fashion-world notables; one contestant panics when she loses her travel documents and realizes she may not be able to go to a secret overseas location with the rest of the group.
