When Amy had the idea a few weeks ago of maybe going away for awhile, Anne suggested that Amy could stay with her grandmother. Amy said she didn't want her grandma to even know about her pregnancy (really Amy, how feasible was that?), and now here's grandma, visiting the family and wanting to help. Meanwhile, everything is sunshine and rainbows between unlikely new BFFs Adrian and Grace, and Adrian's making sure this friendship doesn't go unnoticed by others.

In track and field, there's a U.S. star running for gold this evening in Jamaican-born Sanya Richards, a favorite in the women's 400m. Gymnastics competition concludes with the awarding of gold medals in the men's parallel bars and high bar, and the women's balance beam, on which U.S. stars Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson are two of the world's top contortionists. In diving, China's Qin Kai and He Chong top the list of contenders in the men's springboard event. Finally, the U.S. women's basketball team faces South Korea in a quarterfinal on USA Network. "Australia is the world champion; Russia knocked us out [of the Worlds]; and China has done great at developing their program," says coach Anne Donovan.

Four seasons ago, Diddy put together the all-female R&B group Danity Kane. Two seasons ago, he assembled the all-male R&B group Day26. This season, both bands will be taking their acts on the road in a concert tour to promote their CDs. It's one thing to record music, but quite another to perform it in front of an audience. Will Diddy's groups have the chops to work live without a net? We'll find out starting tonight.
