What To Watch On TV: Thursday Edition

What To Watch
Hopkins @ 10pm
It's been nearly eight years since Baltimore's Johns Hopkins hospital was profiled in Hopkins 24/7, but it's never too late for a checkup as ABC News once again aims a microscope at the renowned medical facility. As before, we're granted amazing access to consultations, examinations and operations which, it should be noted, are extremely graphic, so the squeamish are hereby forewarned. But the six-part series also packs an emotional punch, which is evident in tonight's premiere when a sleep-deprived cardiothoracic surgeon laments his disintegrating marriage, and a man with a brain tumor contemplates the possibility that he may never wake up after surgery. My Boys @ 9:30pm
PJ's Chi-town boys always seem to be in competition — over women, poker, sports, attention — but tonight's contest bursts at the seams. Mike proclaims that he can craft an awesome shirt from scratch, a swaggering boast that inspires the guys to square off in a shirt-making contest. The tight-knit garment varmints are on pins and needles, for the stakes are high: The winner receives free drinks for a month. Elsewhere, Cubbie fan PJ hopes to author a book about a baseball player — but he's a New York Met. (Listen carefully and you can hear the boys booing now.) And it's a sad song for disc jockey Brendan, who loses his radio gig to a computer.

Swingtown @ 10pm
Uptight Janet Thompson lets loose on tonight's cozy episode when she and Roger join the Millers and the Deckers for a weekend getaway at a lakeside cabin. Things don't start swimmingly, but after munching marijuana-laced brownies, Janet sheds her prudish persona — and her clothes. Meanwhile, Laurie invites Doug over to her parentless house for dinner, and B.J., Samantha and Rick break into the Deckers' house to go for a dip in their pool.

Randy Jackson's Presents: America's Best Dance Crew @ 10pm
The funny banter between the judges is hysterical and fun to watch. Many fans may still be reeling after last week's shocking elimination of Distorted X, but it's time to move on to this week's dance challenge when the nine remaining teams will emulate a different classic music video and bring their versions to the stage. As always, the judges are looking for that overall "wow" factor, but they'll also want to see the dancers display certain styles -- including ones that might not be all that familiar to them -- making the challenge that much more difficult.

So You Think You Can Dance @ 9pm
Watch the results show from last night's performances of the remaining sixteen dancers. One male and one female dancer will be eliminated, leaving the rest to continue on in the competition as they get closer to the title and cash! Many guest performances and group dances should entertain as you wait for the solo matches.
