What To Watch On TV: Thursday Edition

Lost @ 9pm
When we left the disheveled Jack just outside the L.A. airport last May, he might not have been lost anymore, but he certainly hadn't found himself. "We have to go back," he screamed to Kate. Doesn't he know when a good time's over? Not likely, but the focus on tonight's fourth-season opener is mostly back on the island — before anybody gets off in the first place — and our gang is choosing up sides between Jack, who's perhaps more anxious to leave than he should be, and Locke, who thinks that leaving is a very bad idea.

Celebrity Apprentice @ 9pm
There was a one-knight stand in last week's episode, which saw our cadre of celebs selling tickets to Broadway shows. There was also some Piers pressure as industrious Piers Morgan, dressed in a Spamalot-inspired knight's costume, was instrumental in helping the undefeated men's team win yet again. Alas, Olympic softball player Jennie Finch, proving uncomfortable with hardball business, got the Trump bump. Tonight, the remaining celebrities must create awareness for a footwear company's shoe-donation campaign, and the women will have to step up. It also appears that real life imitates reel life: Sopranos rat Vincent Pastore apparently betrays his own team.

Smallville @ 8pm
With Clark frozen in the Fortress of Solitude, Bizarro takes over his life. An unaware Lana proceeds to tell the sinister creep the information she's gathered on a serial killer who saps his victims of trace minerals. The two come to the conclusion it must be Brainiac (James Marsters), and Bizarro sets off to find him. Meanwhile, Lex is shocked at Lionel's reaction when Grant reveals he is a clone of Julian. And there's a little stunt casting for the Superman faithful: Marc McClure, Jimmy Olsen from the films, guest stars as Dax-Ur.

Make Me A Supermodel @ 10pm
The calendar says it's the big chill of winter, but Bravo's sightly competition series raises temperatures tonight. The remaining contestants must shed much more than inhibitions when they take direction from an artist, learning the fine art of poise — and pose — in the process. The models also need stark-naked ambition when posing for charcoal sketches as rendered by a circle of art students.
