Men In Trees @ 8pm
Remember the monster wave that rose up suddenly in the Bering Sea at the end of the last episode? It hit Jack's ship like a ton of bricks, and the fallout begins tonight. But Marin knows nothing of it, so she's mad at Jack for not calling, then later feels guilty about being mad. She's also considering getting together with Stuart, who has been calling again. And she's fending off Patrick, who clearly isn't the same man following that lightning strike. You can imagine how Annie feels about that.
Friday Night Lights @ 9pm
The image of Smash "Cabo in my pants" Williams running in his boxers from a big hulk of a man just happened to make my week. He may be the ladies' man of Dillon, but he apparently has a few things to learn about the social scenes at Division 1 football schools. It's disconcerting to know that Matt Saracen, despite knowing this whole story, still relied on Smash for idiotic girl advice. Lesson for all you guys out there: If you want to break up with a girl, don't take the "guy" way out of it! Tonight, Landry comes clean about the murder but his conscience still plagues him. Elsewhere, Herc (Kevin Rankin) urges Jason to date, and the Taylors prepare to christen Gracie as the conflict between Tami and Julie grows.
Women's Murder Club @ 9pm
Tonight's WMC, Lindsay faces a painful reality: Her ex-husband Tom is moving on — big time! — as he and fiancée Heather (Ever Carradine) prepare to say "I do." Lucky for Lindsay she has plenty of work to keep her occupied: She and Jacobi are busy solving the murder of a female impersonator. But it's a death that also hits home for the tough female detective. The case is thematically linked in terms of this idea of people feeling that other people belong to them — it's extremely emotional [for Lindsay]. Meanwhile, another member of the club is dealing with some heavy stuff when a secret of Jill's is revealed at the wedding. And considering the guest list includes Kyle Secor's Hanson North (last seen getting down and dirty with the ADA), we're guessing the secret could affect her relationship with boyfriend Luke.
