Oh my gosh, did I pick the best episode ever to start watching Ugly Betty. Thank you, Leah Bermudez! Daniel tries to stop his father's wedding to the evil Wilhemina but only the groom's heart attack (death??) puts a hold on the matrimonial festivities.
Betty and her boyfriend Henry are baby-duck cute together--he talked her into going to her father's citizenship ceremony after they'd had an enormous fight. I'm hoping that Henry doesn't end up leaving for Tucson like he's supposed to!
My biggest surprise was that Rebecca Romijn (who is turning up all over ABC lately, most recently on Carpoolers) is playing a transsexual. Is it because she's so tall that the network thought she's be a convincing shemale?
