Britney's performance of the year (no, we're not talking about her VMA performance) won't be earning her a spot in the Emmy race after all. She did make the preliminary list for consideration for her cameo role on How I Met Your Mother, but it looks like it's not deserving of a golden statue quite yet. Maybe she'll have to keep reprising her role next season to get in contention for the next show!

We guess Shannen Doherty threw her weight around to producers and they succumbed, because she's in and Tori Spelling is out! According to E!, sources say it's a go with Shannen for the remake, and now it's just a matter of how long she'll shoot. Apparently it all depends on the storyline. In the first two elimination rounds this season, the two dancers going home were a couple. Last week's results show, however, was the first time the eliminated dancers, Chelsea and Chris, weren't paired together. With its no holds barred graphic sequences and real life interrogations, this show is strangely addicting. Cops fans would love it, and so does Queen Latifah who raved about this show. Tonight check out the season premiere as they go very CSI on us and include high tech computer graphics to lay out cime scenes. I wonder what else they will have in store for us this fresh, new season?
