The Tudors Season Three In The Works?

The Tudors

Good news to all you Tudors fans, the Showtime hit TV show might be back for a third season. Showtime did confirm to Hollyscoop that ""The Tudors has NOT been renewed for Season 3 yet." There have been a few scripts written and if there is greenlight, then the studio will go forward with it.

Here at Hollyscoop, we're crossing our fingers since this is one of our favorite shows on TV. If you haven’t watched the show yet, here are some reasons why you should. The historical drama series is loosely based upon the early reign of Henry VIII. The show entails the story of love, greed, power and betrayal.

The TV shows gives sexy a new name with all the steamy love scenes and not to mention hot stars such as Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Henry Cavill. To get a sneak peak of what Season two will entail, check out the trailer below.

Loosely based is right! Even still, I love the lushness of it...even though I am pretty much a stickler for Tudor history especially regarding Henry VIII,I love it too...a guilty pleasure!Henry Cavill is certainly easy on the eyes as well...:)

this is about the only show or movie for that fact that can be forgiven for not sticking to the historical facts because the scripts r well written and the characters well cast, which creates an explosive piece of art. my only concern is that season 3 may not be as good as 1 and 2 because Jane Seymour's relationship with the kings was simply not as notorious as Anne Boleyn's.

This is one of the few shows I've ever been addicted to. The acting is great, the casting is fantastic. I think season 3 will still be very interesting. The girl who is playing Jane Seymour is doing a wonderful job of portraying her as she is described in history.
