NBC has announced that The Office is getting a spinoff show. More specifically, Dwight Schrute is getting a spinoff show. It'll air right after the Office on Thursdays starting next February. So this is the last season we'll be able to see Jim torture Dwight in the office? No!
The only show that has ever been able to make this work is Frasier, who broke away from Cheers. NBC better think long and hard about this spinoff before they do it.
