This year's SAG Awards will still be worth watching, since they were granted one writer to make the show funny.
SAG will be able to hire a WGA writer for its 14th annual SAG Awards at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on January 27. The ceremony will be simulcast on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. EST/PST. Nominations will be announced December 20.
But SAG's buddies the Golden Globes and the Oscars are panicking now, because they've been granted no such writer. How boring would those shows be without good writing?
We won't find out until tomorrow, when the Golden Globe noms are announced. Keep your fingers crossed!
