Marie Osmond has retired her dancing shoes and creepy doll costume, and turned to talking. She is getting her own talk show.
It will be called "Marie" (original) and will start in the fall of 2009. Wow, that gives them a whole lot of time to come up with material. That's almost two years away.
Maybe they're hoping the writer's strike will end by then, and lots of great programming will be back, causing the show to get cancelled before it even starts! Marie says she wants to create a feel good show for women, which is an exact rip off of Tyra. Good thinking, Marie!
