Talk show king Jay Leno is still under fire by Gay Rights activists for asking Ryan Phillippe to give him his "gayest look" during an interview back in March 08.
Leno is ready to put the comment behind him and do some damage control. He's signed up to appear at a gay marriage celebration and rally in West Hollywood this coming Thursday (June 5), alongside Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight.
A spokesperson for the event says, "He said that he is from Massachusetts and that the sky did not fall in their state when marriage equality became the law of the land there. He wants to impress upon everyone here in California that the sky will not fall here either."
