Say aloha to another TV comeback. Hawaii Five-O is coming back to the tube for a 2008 remake on CBS. The original aired from 1968-1980, and according to executive producer and writer Ed Bernero, he plans on keeping as much of the original show as possible.
For those of you unfamiliar with the show, Hawaii Five-O is about a police department in Hawaii headed by character Jack Lord, and played by Steve McGarrett.
Guess it pays to be in the family, since the new series will star McGarrett's son Chris in the role of Jack Lord. Book em', Danno!
