“Gossip Girl” is a pretty new show but there are reports that there’s a spin-off in the works. Isn’t it a bit too soon for a spin-off?
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the creators of the hit TV show are planning a spin-off, which is set at an all girls’ boarding school.
Taylor Momsen will apparently make the move to the new series. Momsen who plays Jenny is a self-esteem challenged outsider who struggles to fit in.
There are no official announcements yet and a CW spokesman declined comment so we gotta wait and see!
UPDATE: GG producer Josh Schwartz denies spin-off saying, "Not sure how this got out there, but no plans for spinoff at this moment...The books do have a spinoff, but we have nothing in the works right now other than making sure season two gets off to a great start."
