A new project is in the works for Teri Hatcher, which means she may be leaving Desperate Housewives.  It's shocking to hear that Teri would leave Housewives since it catapulted her back to stardom. But word is the new show will be based on Teri's book Burnt Toast.  The pilot would be for Lifetime, which just also acquired Project Runway. Can Desperate Housewives survive without Teri?

Nicolette Sheridan may be calling it quits after this season of Desperate Housewives. Show creator Marc Cherry spilled the beans, saying, "Edie is going to cross a huge moral boundary that she's never crossed before on the show and it will have devastating consequences for her and lead to a shocking conclusion to her time on Wisteria Lane." Desperate Housewives is going to be made into a musical. The show's creator Mark Cherry says that when he finishes his seven years at ABC, he plans to go to Broadway and move into the musical world. Can you picture Eva Longoria doing a solo? Kidding. If Legally Blonde can be a successful B'Way play, Desperate Housewives could be a huge hit.

Desperate Housewives has returned to their busy production schedule, and just like Grey's Anatomy, they're spicing things up with new characters.   The newest hot milf on the block will be Julianne Moore.  She will play Bree's sister, and is scheduled for at least three episodes.  Julianne will make a great addition to this show, already chock full of drama!

Phew! They found someone to play Katherine Mayfair's infamous ex-husband on Desperate Housewives. They've picked up Gary Cole! The former West Winger will make his debut on the show on April 20, which is the second episode Desperate Housewive's will be back on air. It's been so long that we've had new episodes that it's gonna feel like we're watching a new show.
