The tango and the jive are two of the liveliest dances in the ballroom repertoire, which was the theme for DWTS' competition show last night. The tango is by far everyone's favorite because of the fire and emotion; and the jive is entertaining because there is a lot of "happy" and spirited movements. But they are not just entertaining, they are challenging too! The tango must be tight yet look effortless and the jive is crazy yet the movements must be controlled. There were some hits and misses last night, so let's get to it!
When in doubt, show some body! Cristian chose to show his killer arms and since he was in the bottom two last week, he needed to pull those babies out to get some votes.
Most hilarious moment when Fabian screamed in Marlee's ear "Can you hear this?" Very touching and sweet! Although, Marlee and Fabian were a bit out of sync, they wll have to rely on each others senses to work it out and get it together.
Mario delivered a hot, sensational performance with the Moulin Rouge version of "Roxanne." Len thought it was a mess, but we think the votes will pour in for him.
Shannon wore a flapper dress that worked for her. Her jive was a tough routine, and Bruno advised her to work on finish and precision.
Cilla scored some high points with her Tango. She was a delight to watch and we should see what the rest of the season has in store for her. Jason was a bit awkward but got all around good scores and remarks. And finally, Kristi's dancing was awesome but her face lacked a bit of expression. She may want to takes cues from her partner Mark, who had his emotional game face on.
All in all, everyone gave a crowd pleasing performance....so it's anyone's guess on who takes their final bow tonight. Stay tuned for the showdown!
