Carson Daly was the first late-night-talk show host that came back on the air and many have criticized him for that. Daly says that the reason he returned was because "an ultimatum was put in front of me" by the NBC suits.
So what exactly was the ultimatum? "Put a new show on Dec. 3 or 75 people are fired. What's your answer?"
Daly admits that it hasn’t been easy because he’s been criticized by many.
"It's been a nightmare," he says, adding that "people thought I had a choice ... as if I waned to come back, and come back without my writers.”
This writers strike is really getting old! Everyone’s being stubborn and no one is getting anywhere. Actually we’re getting screwed cause we are stuck watching reruns and our favorite shows are starting to slowly get canceled.
