Big Shots Gets Canceled

I'm sad to report that one of our favorite shows "Big Shots" just got canceled. Production is shutting down and the studio informed the cast and crew on Thursday they won't be coming back after the strike.

ABC has yet to make an official statements about the fate of "Big Shots" but it's safe to say Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus, Joshua Malina and Nia Long are all out of job. Its a shame too cause it was such a great show.

That absolutely sucks! I thought this was a well put together cast, decent writing and had serious potential. Too bad it won't get a chance to show us what it can do. In a time where this show gets cancelled and some of these other ridiculous shows keep coming back, I hope someone like FX or something can take it over.

ABC should get its act together. Big Shots is a show with a good plot line and excellent cast. Its a perfect show for mano-mano and should not be replaced with another lame crime drama or irrational comedy.

I can't believe they're canceling the show. I loved the whole concept of the show and it was well written for each character. I can't believe I won't be able to watch this show anymore.

I am sad to hear that. I really liked the show, and agree with previous coments. The cast was great. I really like Nia long and was happy to see her aside these leading men. It could have been good. If they rode it out a little bit longer.

What!??? ABC get your act together! That show was going somewhere, except for the fact that it kept getting pushed aside (BEFORE WRITERS STRIKE) so new shows could premiere, then it would come back on again. Im getting tired of falling for a show with a great plot line for it to only get kicked to the curb.

Big Shots was a great show and I'm saddened that it will not be back! :( They had so many avenues that this show could take, they just needed to give it a chance. I mean come on what heterosexual woman wouldn't want to see four gorgeous men on tv once a week? They're not thinking of what women want and the reason it might not have had that big of ratings is because woman were doing other things when it was on... change the on-air time and I'm sure the ratings would rocket!

this sucks... my husband thinks all the shows on ABC are "chick shows" and then came big shots and we watched it together. why dont they put it on another day, like a day that ugly betty and greys does not come on. bring it back youll see.

So, if there's NO 'OFFICIAL' confirmation how can you be CERTAIN that it will not be back? Just because the set was dismantled and the cast let go, who's to say there's not a 'spin-off' in the works, or that it won't be 'picked up' in another manner? Can you check all the facts 'before' printing this kind of information?

ABC what were you thinking? Oh, I know you didn't did you? Why would you take away the male counterpart to Desparate Housewives? You need to bring this show back quick, fast, and in a hurry! ABC needs to think about it's fanbase a little more carefully, this is why you loose more and more of us to the cable networks! I know, take off Supernanny or Wife Swap, we already know we have bratty little kids and couples that can't appreciate their mates and families. ABC bring Big Shots back!!!
