The 2009 People's Choice Awards are right around the corner, and now that the nominees have officially been announced, we can pick our own favorites!

MTV VMA Ratings Rocked

Guess having Russell Brand host this year's VMAs was a good thing! The ratings are in, and the show rocked this year! The ratings were 15% higher than last year's, and 41% than 2006!
The fact that Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and Lil Wayne all performed probably helped things as well. Plus, everyone tuned in to see if Britney was going to perform! And even though she didn't, the girl won big!

The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are right around the corner and this year the suits at ABC are spicing up the show.
Ryan Seacrest, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel from "Deal or No Deal," Tom Bergeron from "Dancing With the Stars," and Jeff Probst from "Survivor" will all co-host the awards show.

This past weekend the "6th Annual TV Land Awards" took place in Los Angels. One of our favorite TV icons Roseanne Barr came out to the event with her fellow cast-mates, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Martin Mull, Johnny Galecki.
