He's not just the big sourpuss we see on American Idol. Under that nasty demeanor, Simon Cowell is a good guy. He appeared on Oprah today, doing his part for Oprah's Big Give.
Simon announced that he would be paying off the mortgage of a couple who are struggling with their daughter's debilitating cancer.
The family drives over 100 miles a day so their daughter can receive treatments. Their burden will be lifted tremendously with Simon paying their $162,000 mortgage. Simon said on the show, "I never knew that doing good could feel so good."
