Simon Cowell is speaking out about his precious Idol empire, which premieres tomorrow. He says the kids really need to bring it this season. With the writers' strike, Idol has a chance to reel in even more viewers.
He tells Variety, "I think last year just wasn't one of our better seasons. The show has got to look better. It's got to be more fun. It's got a better cast this season. I will go on record as saying this is one of the strongest years we've had."
